Hi — Hebrew Hero is built by a single developer (that's me, Charles). I read every support email personally, usually within a day or two.
How to reach me
Email support@hebrew-hero.com. Please include:
- The version of the app you're running (Settings → About at the bottom of the screen)
- Your Session ID (same place — useful for me to pull matching server logs)
- A short description of what went wrong, or what you'd like to see added
Common questions
I lost my streak. Can you restore it?
Email me with your Session ID and the date you missed. I can manually restore streaks for genuine technical issues (app crashed mid-session, etc.) — not for "I forgot to study yesterday," because that defeats the point of the streak.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store. On iPhone: Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Hebrew Hero → Cancel. Apple handles billing, not me, so I can't cancel on your behalf.
I want a refund.
Refund requests also go through Apple, not me. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find Hebrew Hero in your purchase history, and request a refund. Apple usually decides within a few days.
Will Hebrew Hero ever support Biblical Hebrew?
Not in v1. The app is focused on Modern Hebrew — the language you'd actually use in Israel today. Biblical Hebrew (with its different grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation conventions) is a different learning project I might tackle separately later.
Is my data sold or shared?
No. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown. Short version: your data is used to deliver the lessons, synced across your devices via Firebase, and nothing more.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, anytime. Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. All server-side data is erased within 30 days.
